About Me

My writing has been published on audio platforms and in fiction and non-fiction magazines including Longleaf Review, Ellipsis Zine, FlashBack Fiction and The Sunday Herald Magazine.

I've been interested in words and the power of words for as long as I can remember. I'd just started school when I first understood a specific metaphor, long before I actually knew what a metaphor was!

While at Strathclyde University, I entered a writing competition. I had no idea stories could be so short—in this case 1000 words or fewer. My piece, Shifting Sands, placed 2nd and flash fiction cast its spell on me. I was hooked!

As well as writing very short stories, I'm also working on a novel.
